TOOK A FEW PICS BECAUSE I AM SO PROUD OF MY GREEN FINGERS HAVE GROWN A LOT OF FLOWERS FROM SEED THIS YEAR.

HIM INDOORS BROUGHT ME BREAKFAST IN BED THIS MORNING AND BLESS HIS ROMANTIC SOCKS ON A PLATE WAS A HEART CUT FROM A BANANA SKIN WITH OUR FIRST RASPBERRY ON THIS MEANT A LOT TO ME......

WHAT HAVE I DONE ?

WELL I'VE BEEN PUTTING OFF DOING THIS ZUMBA LARK FOR TOO LONG NOW ,MAKING EXCUSES SO ONE PHONE CALL AND IT'S DONE BUT WHY DID I DECIDE TO MAKE IT HARDER FOR MYSELF........
AQUA ZUMBA YES AT LEAST THERE WILL BE NO LADY SWEAT I WILL BE TOO WET!!

I AM GOING TO PRACTICE IN THE LAKES OF WATER THAT HAVE APPEARED IN OUR COUNTRY PARK FROM ALL THIS FLOODING IN THE UK, ONLY JOKING BUT WILL HAVE TO ROOT MY COSSIE OUT BRUSH OFF THE COBWEBS, WISH ME LUCK...

PEEPS WERE SINGING IN THE BAND STAND A FEW PEEPS WERE DANCING OF SORTS AND IT IS NICE TO SEE EVERYONE LOOKING LIKE THEY WERE ENJOYING THEMSELVES.


 AT THE MOMENT THERE IS ANGST AMONG THE MASSES WHO HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO FEEL THIS WAY......BANKS, EVERYWHERE CLOSING DOWN,MONEY NOT GOING TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE,WAR,DISTRUST IN THE GOVERNMENT NEED I GO ON...........
I AM SOOO GLAD WE HAVEN'T BEEN FLOODED, I AM SO GLAD WE HAVE FOOD IN OUR BELLIES,I AM SO GLAD WE HAVE A ROOF OVER OUR HEADS,SO GLAD WE ARE BOTH WORKING,(NOT HAPPY AT ALL THAT LOTS OF PEOPLE HAVE NEVER WORKED AND ARE LIVING THE HIGH LIFE ON BENEFITS),I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT BECAUSE I WAS ON BENEFITS BUT THROUGH NO FAULT OF MY OWN NOW THEY PAY OUT FOR LAZINESS .........

ANYWAY WE WERE BOTH PLEASED WITH RESULTS OF BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS AND A SMALL AMOUNT OF CHOPPING, BANGING,AND FAFFING WE LADIES ARE GOOD AT FAFFING AND THE PICS SAY IT ALL JUST NEED TO TRY IT OUT NOW,THIS BENCH IS MUCH BETTER THAN A B&Q ONE IT HAS A HEART AHHHHH X

ANYWAY WE HAD A WONDERFUL DAY I AM IN HEAVEN WHEN I'M ON THE BEACH THERE'S A TREASURE TROVE OF THINGS TO BE FOUND. SHELLS, ODD LOOKING PEBBLES THAT HAVE BEEN SCULPTURED BY THE SEA, ROPES LEFT AND SEAWEED HAS WRAPPED ITSELF AROUND IT, CRABS THAT HAVE BEEN DEVOURED BY THE SEA BIRDS AND LOBSTERS THAT FELL OUT OF THE LOBSTER POTS...... WE HAVE BROUGHT ALL WE FOUND HOME AND WILL MAKE LOVELY THINGS TO PUT IN OUR GARDEN TO REMIND US OF THIS LOVELY DAY( NOT SMELLY CRAB OR LOBSTER BY THE WAY)!
MEG FINALLY HAD A WEENY DIP IN THE SEA AS LONG HAS WE DON'T LOOK SHE SNEEKS IN ON THE EDGE BLESS .....

HI BLOG VILLE SORRY FOR GETTING LAZY,I KNOW NO EXCUSES BUT.......HAD THE GRAND DAUGHTER OVER FOR A FEW DAYS AND TIME TO SIT  IS NOT ON THE AGENDA!!!!!!
wE VENTURED ON TO THE BEACH I WAS THRILLED WHEN THE HEAVENS DIDN'T OPEN WHICH HAS BEEN HAPPENING A LOT OF LATE,ANYWAY A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL BEACH COMBING TOP OF THE LIST YEHHHHHH.

WE HAD A GREAT FIND THIS FOSSIL, WHICH HIM INDOORS THINKS IS VERY OLD AND BEEN DREDGED UP BY OUR VERY ROUGH SEA. MY THEORY IS A SQUILLION YEARS AGO A SQUIGGLY CREATURE HAD A LIE DOWN IN THE MUD AND EH PRESTO ONE FLAT AND VERY FOSSILISED WORM OF SOME SORT ,AM I BEING TOO TECHNICAL FOR YOU HAHA.......

I AM SO LUCKY TO LIVE BY THE SEA I COULD EASILY LIVE IN A SHACK ON THE EDGE AND BE A BEACH BUM WITH LOTS OF DANGLING THINGS THAT IV'E MADE OVER THE YEARS WITH MY FINDS.MMMMMM IN THE WOODS OR ON THE BEACH BIG DECISIONS I CAN DREAM CAN'T I?

YES A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL ON SATURDAY CELEBRATING THE QUEENS JUBILEE. WE GATHERED THE TROOPS AND THEY CAME TOGETHER FOR A LOVELY AFTERNOON OF FUN, EATING, DRINKING AND QUIZ MASTER KEVIN WAS ON TOP FORM A BIT OF A TASK MASTER OUR COGS WERE WORKING OVERTIME MEMORY NOT GOOD. 
WE HAD A FEW GATE CRASHERS NOT SURE IF THEY LIVED NEAR US BUT THEY BROUGHT DRINK AND FOOD SO I WILL FORGIVE THEM. AFTER THEY ALL WENT BACK TO THERE PREVERBIAL HOMES ME AND HIM INDOORS MOVED ACROSS TO OUR NEIGHBOURS AND CARRIED ON !!!!! IS IT OK TO DRINK A PIMS FROM A PINT GLASS WELL I DIDN'T REALLY CARE I WAS IN GOOD COMPANY AND I WAS THINKING ANYONE WHO HASN'T MADE AN EFFORT THIS WEEKEND MISERABLE SODS IS ALL I CAN SAY WE NEEDED CHEERING UP AND BY GUM IT TOOK OUR MAJESTY TO HAVE  A BIRTHDAY AND BOBS YOUR UNCLE FANNYS YOUR AUNT ALL OF BRITAIN WERE WAVING THOSE FLAGS YEHHH.

ALL IN ORDER PIE AND PEAS ,DRINK, UNION JACK CAKE........

JUST WATCHED THE LIVE CONCERT THAT WAS STAGED IN FRONT OF BUCKINGHAM PALACE GARY BARLOW PULLED OFF A FABULOUS SONG CALLED 'SING' WITH NEARLY 200 ON STAGE GOOSE BUMPS ABOUND, TOM JONES LOOKED GORGEOUS AND STILL HAS THE VOICE.AM I RAMBLING SORRY BUT IT'S SO NICE TO SEE SO MANY PEEPS ENJOYING THEMSELVES.....

SEAFARING DOG

Hi everyone on blog land, thought I would give my doggy version of events at my new home in Filey, a lovely seaside town on the east coast.
   I have settled in well, I am still missing my first owner but he will be up there in heaven looking down and making sure that I am behaving and remembering everything that he taught me.

   I have been up to the allotment and I think that it brought back memories because it all seemed familiar, the shed and the scarecrow, I found it hard to relax to do my toilet, but the first time was up at lottie and my Dad was pleased.
Yes it was in my third week, I was taken down to the beautiful thing they call the beach, wow all that space to run and not one sheep in sight, when the ball was thrown near that wet stuff that makes a roaring sound it was a little scary at first but I will get used to it.

   I do like the hosepipe however, great fun trying to catch the water but I am afraid this won't be often because of a hosepipe ban that may come in the Summer.
   Watch this space.

WELL WE HAVE FINALLY RESCUED ANOTHER DOGGIE,AFTER LOSING OUR JESS LAST YEAR.THE EMPTINESS IN THE HOUSE WAS TERRIBLE NOW IT HAS BEEN FILLED YEHHHHH!!!!!!!

MEG IS A BEAUTIFUL BORDER COLLIE WHO IS SO LOVABLE, HER OWNER PASSED AWAY AND SHE LIVED IN THE LAKE DISTRICT. SHE HAD TO SHOW US WHAT SHE KNEW,THEY ARE SUCH INTELLIGENT DOGS. HER FIRST DAY ON THE BEACH THIS WEEK AND SAND WAS NO PROBLEM BUT WHEN HER BALL WENT NEAR THE WAVES IT WAS SO FUNNY TO WATCH HER SNEAKING UP ON THE SEA WONDERING WHAT ON EARTH IT WAS!!!!!I'M THINKING OUR JESS SENT HER TO US SUCH A LOVABLE SOUL BLESS JUST LOOK AT MY PICS AND SAY YOU DON'T LOVE HER TOOX

Yes the weather men and ladies were right for once, artic cold winds freezing conditions and snow this evening well by the looks of outside it HAS come brrrr.


I'm not a happy bunny and it isn't even Easter I have had a bug of large proportions (virus doctors diagnosis), it sucks you of all energy do not want to watch any drivel on said tv, or read a book or have any lights on,I look like I have aged 10 years in one week. Him indoors said do you feel like going for a walk ?We drove to town I felt strange it seemed like forever since I had been round people,we went in our local Library, sanctuary warm and cosy friendly faces better than any tablets or night nurse!!!
Had a hot drink and biscuits and browsed the shelves, he took out computer books, me I love and good feeling books time to head home, still snowing but it won't be deep not like when I was small....


Winter lasted months it was wonderful we didn't have to do the worrying our parents did that.
    

Bird Song....

Hi peeps, well what has been happening in Gilly world found out where I work the place is up for sale not good news ,thought I would be there till I retire.Sign of the times I'm afraid,dirty Tesco and there greedy antics sucking small towns dry buying everywhere up.
Then the freezing cold winter we had in 2010 killed most of the shops in Filey which is a seaside town, so I suppose we have the visitors in Summer but they have chosen to park for three hours free! Tesco again,then do their shopping there.
I don't need a crystal ball to see the future mmmmm let me see....... Poundland, Charity shops, and yes good old Tesco very very sad.


Did anyone see the moving drama on BBC1 on Sunday called Birdsong it was very sad and passionate.The acting by the main character was breathtaking when he said nothing it brought tears to my eyes and the love between himself and Isobella just beautiful watch on I Player if you can.... and read the book after a must!!

Oh my god what happened on Sherlock last night ?

Well another gorgeous January day cannot believe this weather went for a walk down on beach,then came home did a bit of gardening.Did anyone watch Sherlock last night soooooo brilliant we have been speculating all day at work how he did it. At the end falling off that building then standing in the graveyard at end, really well done the camera work is ace. Me and him indoors thought it wouldn't work a modern day Holmes but with good writing etc magic appears on the screen.

SINGING OSTEOPATH.......

I went to my Osteopath this week if anyone has experienced the way they go about making you feel better WILL know pain is THE word!!!!
He makes me feel relaxed by telling jokes sooo bad that rotten tomatoes comes to mind,then while pummelling my back and very upper botty which has a specific name which went out of my memory box the minute he touched me!! He tried to put me at ease by saying it's hurting him more (where have I heard this before)? He said he had tears in his eyes ,sorry did I hear right for goodness sake I have a high threshold of pain but tears do not come near.......I am diversifying here or beating about the bush, At the end of my session I got dressed tried to sit down WRONG, while on the couch I might add we were talking about music I mentioned Cat Stevens and Donovan etc you get my drift he picked up his guitar sat on the couch and proceeded to play and serenade me (am I dreaming no, a drink hasn't passed my lips).
Now don't get me wrong I like a tinkle on a piano, a violin,a bit of drumming,but after this man has seen my near nether regions how can a person take him seriously,I'm sorry to admit I was singing along with him when it came to Catch the Wind I rest my B log.......

Hurrah Big Man has been saved!!!

YES OUR FILEY FISHERMAN IS STAYING.......
A local lady who purchased the Scarborough Sculpture for the town at a cost of £48,000 has stepped in and bought our Big man for £ 50,000. Filey Town council hopefully will put a plaque up in honour of this generous gesture yehhhhh and invite her over to officially celebrate his arrival,sometime things like this happen and it gives you hope x

I first saw this fab fella up in Saltburn but he wasn't by the sea he was stood by a wall,then all Filey residents surprise surprise he ended up on Coble landing looking magnificent standing roughly 4 metres!!!!!WOW the pics are here to show you but sadly because we can't raise funds £50.000 he is moving to Scarborough tight ar.. peeps loved it and visitors would have flocked in the Summer for their photos taken with him but not enough was pledged eh ho another gret idea bites the dust.An elderly resident of Scarborough saved her pennies and bought a similar sculpture he sits on his special iron bench on Marine drive do take a look if your there.

HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN? TOO LONG....

Happy New Year everyone out there in Blog Land,long time no see........

Me and him indoors had a lovely Christmas it was quiet,did go over to my lads for couple of days over festive period, he got me on a horse Christmas day that didn't do my back any good won't be competing at Olympia any time soon lol!! I cannot believe the weather how warm it's been we got ready in October for this -19 freeze like we had last year and it didn't come,rock salt, rubber grippers for our boots insulated everywhere......

Me thinks Jack Frost has buggered off to Benidorm by the sea.......
